On September 30^th, 2022, the European Researchers’ Night event took place in the campus of the University “G. d’Annunzio” in Chieti (Italy). On that occasion, Dr. De Fano, a staff member of partner UdA, presented a poster describing the EMBRACE project. A huge amount of public attended the poster, asking questions and explanations. The attendees more interested in neuroscience and its application in EMBRACE were students from the primary and secondary schools (about 50), students from high schools (about 150), university students (about 100) and about 50 adult citizens.

The UCM team participated in the XI Madrid Es Ciencia fair for students of all ages (mostly primary and secondary education) within an MSCA Ambassador space granted by and within the stand by the Region of Madrid’s Knowledge Foundation (Madrid Fundación para el Conocimiento). The venue was IFEMA. The UCM team explained the ourpose of the EMBRACE project, distributing flyers, discussing science & innovation with about 40 students, and informing about the MSCA program.

Prof. Patrique Fiedler gave an invited talk on “Body-Sensor-Netzwerke und der Trend des omnipräsenten medizinischen Monitorings” at the Science Forum of the Technische Universität Ilmenau. On that occasion, Prof. Fiedler presented the EMBRACE project to about 25 local and 40 online participants.

Prof. Silvia Comani presented the EMBRACE project to the Bachelor students of Human Motor Sciences of the Università degli Studi “G. d’Annunzio” di Chieti-Pescara at the end of her course on Biomechanics. The presentation was given to a class of about 200 students. Prof. Comani described the purpose of the project, the study paradigm and multimodal approach, and the impacts and benefits that could derive from the implementation of the EMBRACE for the general population.
